Gala Dinner 2012

The HAT Foundation are pleased to announce that the gala dinner, auction and raffle held on Friday 12 October raised just a little over £6000.

Thank you to all those who attended. We hope you all had a great evening, we certainly did. The Copthorne Hotel in Cardiff did us proud with a really tasty and excellently presented dinner and Richie Evans was a fantastic entertainer with his Swing2Buble, Michael Buble tribute act.

A big thank you to all those who donated prizes for the raffle and auction. Also thanks to Barclays Bank plc (Barry Branch) Ken Sievewright from KCS Transport, Phill Spierling and C & H Plumbing supplies for their donations on the night.

Your donations will help us deliver piped water into the next batch of houses in the village in Sri Lanka that we are supporting. It will also help to buy the next batch of shoes for the children, helping them attend school regularly. We believe that education is the pathway out of poverty. By helping these children stay in education, supporting their schools, promoting and supporting the study of English they will be better prepared to develop their own prosperity.
